About Us
Jeff Grant is a recognized leader in systems architecture and database design, with over 20 years of experience in IT. He has specialized knowledge of Oracle database and application server technologies and consults internationally in N-tier architecture. Jeff works closely with the Oracle Product Development Group in Redwood Shores, California to assist in the testing and development of their Application Server and Database products.
Jeff has participated in a number of Oracle marketing and technical initiatives, including web seminars, live product releases, and Oracle Open World presentations. Not only does he have the distinction of being the first person in the world to deploy Oracle 9iAS in a production environment, he was also the first non-Oracle person to be asked to host a web-based technical seminar. (That seminar broke all attendance records for any web seminar held by Oracle). He has also been the subject of multiple Oracle Magazine articles.
Jeff consults in the areas of application development, system security and performance tuning of large distributed systems. Past clients include US, Canadian (Federal and Provincial) governments, as well as fortune 100 companies.
In May of 2001, Jeff founded T-SWAT Consulting LTD., a company based in Vancouver, BC.
Drawing on his excellent industry relationships, Jeff has assembled a team of highly skilled consultants in order to provide a wide variety of technical services throughout North America. While specializing in “Emergency Response” and troubleshooting services, T-SWAT also provides complete application/system development and comprehensive Managed Services.
Specialized software, originally code-named Brazil, was developed to assist T-SWAT perform Managed Services and technical troubleshooting. This resulted in the creation of a separate company called Intellinger Software, with Jeff as the CTO and co-founder.
Intellinger Software develops and markets the next generation version of Brazil, called Unified Performance Monitoring (UPM).
